Len Simkins (Infotrain Director) acts as the Secretary for Bedfordshire Advice Forum in his role as Advice UK's regional representative in the Eastern Region. Infotrain is also commissioned to arrange meetings for BAF, which is the forum for local advice and information providers in Bedfordshire. These meetings provide an opportunity for BAF members to network with other members and to discuss issues affecting the local advice sector. BAF meetings are held every 3 months in Bedford. Full details of the meetings and minutes can be viewed on the BAF website - www.bedsadviceforum.org.uk We also organise the Steering Group meetings for BAF. The Steering Group oversees BAF and plans its activities and finances.

BAF has
also formed a new 'Community Interest Company' entitled "Advice Bedfordshire" -
this was included in BAF's 3 year strategy and 2006/07 action plan. This
Company will act as the "trading arm" for BAF.
