 Quality standard for BME advice groups 

Infotrain is working with Bedford Race Equality Council  to develop a quality standard for local BME groups that give advice and information to their clients.  This project is being funded by Capacity Builders as part of their Improving Reach programme.

 

As the project consultant Infotrain is

  • Setting up a Consultation Group to give feedback on the new standard as it is developed

  • Conducting research into quality standards used by local groups

  • Conducting research into quality standards used by voluntary groups

 

 Mid Beds. Credit Union 

Infotrain has recently completed a feasibility study for the Mid Beds Credit Union Focus Group to investigate the viability of a credit union in Mid Bedfordshire.  To view  a copy of the full report please click here.

 Disability Rights Project

Infotrain is working with Luton Law Centre on its Disability Rights Project.  This is funded by the Disability Rights Commission and the Law Centres Federation.

 

Len Simkins, Infotrain Director, is providing consultancy support on the regional project and will be giving talks, presentations and training on Part III of the Disability Discrimination Act which provides rights for disabled people when accessing goods, services and premises.
